03-11-2011: We just received the all new Gretsch Pro Jet from the affordable Electromatic Series;  you have the choice between Black and 2-Tone Sunburst.  Also new in stock: Vintage LV100TSB and Walden Natura 350L.  We also have a couple of interesting 2nd hand guitars: Fender American Std Stratocaster in Sunburst and Schecter C-1 Exotic Star in Blue.

02-09-2011: New stuff received: Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins, Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb, Fender Super-Sonic 22 combo and Fender Super Champ XD.  We're expecting much more from Fender, Squier, Hagstrom, Heritage and Takamine.  I can tell already that there will an issue of the Kurt Cobain Jaguar!!  And there's more news about Fender: every purchase of an American Standard Strat or Tele comes with a year's supply of Fender strings (= 12 sets of guitar strings for free).  This promo-action is valid until 31/12/2011.

12-08-2011: Tomorrow 13/8 it's International Left-Hander's Day.  We can celebrate this with a limited edition serie of guitars which we received today from Ibanez: ART320L, AS73L and AF75L jazzbox.  Also got in the magnificent Squier 70s Jazz bass.

09-04-2011: Gretsch guitars came in!  Now in stock: Gretsch G6118TLH-125th Anniversary, G6119LH Chet Atkins Tennessee Rose, G6128TDS-LH Duo Jet and G6120-1959LH-LTV Chet Atkins Hollow Body.  Makes a very nice collection, isn't it?

02-04-2011: New guitars received!  Dean Z79 Classic Black, Hagstrom Viking Deluxe White, Fender Sonoran SCE electro-acoustic and 2 marvellous Heritage thinlines: a H535 in Tobacco Sunburst and a H535 with Bigsby in Wine Red.  Also got in a used Taylor 214ce (like new) and Godin LGX (at very interesting price!).  In accessories we have now Dean Markley strings in stock and the very handy effect pedals powering system 1 Spot of Visual Sound.  In the coming weeks we're expecting much more nice stuff from Fender, Gretsch, Dillion, Crafter, Takamine,...  Keep an eye on the news!

Next week the yearly Musikmesse will be held in Frankfurt.  As we are visiting this fair the shop will be closed on Thursday 7 april.

03-12-2010: It's been a long time, but Gretsch is back at LeftyGuitars!!  We just received a G6120-1959LHTV Chet Atkins in Vintage Orange Lacquer, a Duo Jet is still on order.  Also new in stock (finally!): Hagstrom Ultra Swede.  Btw, you still have 2 weeks to make your mind up on the Hagstrom promo.  A couple of references like Swede Goldtop and Viking Cherry Red are out of stock for the moment, but you can still benefit from the promo if you order before 19/12/2010...

27-11-2010: And the winner is....  KICKSTART KARMA.  The jury had an extremely difficult task to select a winner for our contest.  Our three finalist could all have been winners, but there was only 1 Hagstrom guitar to give away.  Thanks to all attendees, bands and helping hands for their support to make this finale a succes!

02-09-2010: More new stuff: American Std Strat Olympic White, Taylor 510ce Honey Burst (!!).  And we have already the brand new Fender Mustang amps in stock!  The Mustang I is a 20W amp with an 8" speaker; the Mustang II has 40W power and a 12" speaker.  Both amps are equipped with 8 amp models and 24 effects that can be stored in 24 presets and UBS connection.  All that at extremely interesting prices!

17-05-2010: Introducing Dillion Guitars!  This small guitar company is based in North Carolina, USA and makes replicas and variations of the worlds most wanted contemporary and vintage instruments.  The guitars are  hand crafted in Korea what stands for quality production at very fair prices.  They offer a very interesting lefty range.  The first shipment just came in:  2 Dillion Phoenix (Firebird model) and a Dillion LP Goldtop.  Come over to check them out!  Also new in stock: Tokai FV40 (Vintage White!), Tokai Jazz Sound, Fender American Vintage '52 Tele, Walden D550 and D350.  We have also received some very interesting used guitars in stock: Gibson LP Std, Gibson ES-335, Gibson LP Classic, Gordon Smith Crying Rebel, Jim Reed Tele and Hagstrom HL550.  See ya!

11-03-2010: Please take note of following closing dates: next Saturday 20th March we will be on the Belgium Guitar Show in Affligem.  The shop is closed that day, but maybe you can visit our booth on this very nice guitar fair in Affligem.  On Thursday 25th March the shop will be also closed because we're visiting the Musik Messe in Frankfurt.

02-01-2010: A very Happy Newyear to all of you!  2009 was an exciting year for LeftyGuitars.  New dealerships (Benedetto, Ibanez, LTD...) broadened our range.  We keep on seeing happy people in the shop and also having great reactions from online contacts.  Thank you to our customers; we wish you a lot of fun and succes with your new instruments.

22-11-2009: Due to economical reasons the dealership with Gaskell Guitars has been ended.  These are the last Gaskells we'll offer in the shop: Classic White and a B-stock Classic II Natural.  For further enquiries about Gaskell see www.gaskellguitars.com . 

In the meantime we received from ESP LTD the EX-50, M-50, Viper-50 and Viper-401, from Ibanez the ART120, RGR170 and Artcore AK95.

25-09-2009: We received a new Fender Am Std Telecaster 3-Tone Sunburst and a Fender Am Std Stratocaster in very handsome Olympic White!  Mind you that the Fender promo with the free Champion 600 ends in a couple of days (30/9/09), so hurry if you want to do a deal...  Also new in the shop: Gibson Les Paul Std Trad and Gibson SG Std, LTD KH-202 Kirk Hammett signature, Dean Performer E, Dean ML XL, Hamer Sunburst, Californian and Echotone, Takamine G-Series guitars, ...

20-08-2009: Dealership with Ibanez re-activated!  Finally we have again Ibanez guitars and basses in our shop.  In addition to their regular available lefties, Ibanez recently came out with (limited) lefty versions of their Artcore and Prestige Series.  Today we received 6 Ibanez guitars and 1 bass in our shop.  Cheers!

10-08-2009: We're very proud to announce that we became dealer of Benedetto Guitars.  Benedetto Guitars is the world's premier maker of hand-made archtop electric and acoustic guitars.  Robert Benedetto has been making jazz guitars since 1968 and wrote the definitive book on archtop construction.  From 1999 to 2006 he licensed Fender to manufacture his instruments by hand at their custom shop.  Since 2006 Benedetto Guitars is totally independent again, making fine carved and laminated guitars as a small, family-feel manufacturer.  Entirely made in Savannah, GA, USA, and directly under Bob Benedetto's personal supervision or by his hands, these instruments have become some of the most sought after guitars in the market.  We received already the first Benedetto in our shop: the compact sized jazz box Bambino.  Simply breathtaking guitar.  Your chance as a lefty to try an exclusive Benedetto!  Note that also all other models are available in lefty version at no upcharge.

11-07-2009: Good news from Fender: the issue of lefty versions of the Kingman SCE and the Tim Armstrong Hellcat acoustics.  Also Squier made me happy with the lefty Vintage Modified Jazz Bass.  We have these already in stock!  Also new in stock: G&L USA Asat Bass (at an incredible bargain price!!), Hagstrom FXB220 bass, Hagstrom Viking (at last!), Frontman 212R amp, FM65DSP amp and a used Fender American Vintage '57 Strat.

05-06-2009: Now present in the shop: Höfner Violin Bass CT in Sunburst and Black!!  We also received a couple of new classics: Höfner HF15L and Takamine EG522 (with cutaway and preamp).  In the amps-department we have the new Fender Band-Master VM ready to test (a great piece of equipment!!).  Also the Blues DeVille and Frontman 25R are back in stock.

11-04-2009: Thursday we had the visit of Kloot Per W.  Supported by co-guitarist Jan Goossens he treated us to songs from Velvet Underground, Johnny Cash, REM, The Cure and many more...  One word: SUPER !!  Thank you Dr. Kloot, thank you Jan.  We're sure you gained quite some new fans under the audience.

03-02-2009: Breaking news!!  Through an Irish intermediate I could lay my hand on 2 new Rickenbacker 360, 1 in Fireglo finish and 1 in Amber Fireglo finish.  Production date was week 23 of 2008.  These must be 2 guitars of one of the last lefty productions at the Rickenbacker factory.  These magnificent guitars are brand new and come with the vintage reissue case.  Act fast!!

14-01-2009: Le nouveau Taylor est arrivé!  We now have a nice line-up of lefty Taylor guitars in the shop: Baby Taylor, 114e, 214e, GA3, 314ce and 614ce (Tobacco Sunburst).  THE opportunity to check out these great guitars!

04-01-2009: Happy New Year !  A  BIG 'Thank You' to our customers, your loyalty and confidence means a lot to us.  2008 was a very good year for LeftyGuitars.  It gives us the possibility to invest in new gorgeous gear for the coming year.  Here's already a first announcement for 2009: New dealership of Gaskell Guitars, a unique Australian manufacturer of left handed guitars.  They produce guitars that are not (anymore) available as left handed models by the original manufacturers.  We hope to receive the first guitars very soon. 

In the last days we received quite some new stuff from Fender: New Std Jazz Bass, New Std Stratocaster, American Std Jazz Bass, American Std Telecaster, Highway 1 Stratocaster, Squier PBass Special, Frontman 212R, Super Champ XD,... and there's more to come...

14-12-2008: Beginning 2009 Fender will introduce the new Mexican Standard Series guitars and basses.  This new serie will upgrade the actual serie with especially esthaetical features like tinted neck, parchment pickguard/knobs and new colours.  As pre-introduction LeftyGuitars has the first new lefty Mexican Std guitars in stock: Stratocaster Arctic White, Telecaster Black and Telecaster Sunburst.  And I must say, these guitars are really great!  Come over to the shop to see and try them for yourself.  At the same time we announce our year-end action on Fender gear with free stuff on every purchase of a new instrument of the Fender brands (Fender, Squier, Guild, Gretsch, Jackson, SWR, Taylor, Takamine & Ovation). 

Also new in the shop: Taylor 214e, Baby Taylor, Italia Torino Thinline in Silver Sparkle, Italia Torino Thinline Bass in Cream, Squier P-Bass Special in Black, Fender Super Champ XD, Fender Frontman 65R and 25R. 

05-12-2008: In the year-end-period the shop will also be open on both Sundays 21 & 28 December 2008 from 13.00h till 17.00h.   X-Mas day Dec. 25th and Newyears-day Jan. 1st we will be closed. 

A whole bunch of new guitars came in: From Epiphone the Sheraton II, Dot and LP Std Ebony; from Tanglewood the Parlour TW73LH Vintage Sunburst, Banjo TB24DLX-G-LH, Folk 12-string TW145/12 SCLH, Folk 6-string TW45NS LH, Dreadnought TW15NS; from Walden the Natura's D600L, D550L, D350L, N350L and N550L. The largest choice in acoustics we ever had in our shop !! 

15-11-2008: Prices are going up; do your advantage at the actual prices!  During the last days many distributors have announced price increases due to unfavourable exchange rates and raw materials that became more expensive.  We do our best to minimize the effect on our sales prices but we expect that most prices on instruments and gear will be adjusted by the end of this year.

New dealership of the great MXR / Dunlop effects!  As of today we have a range of the most popular MXR- and Dunlop-effects available in the shop.  We can offer you all effects from the MXR & Dunlop catalogue at very interesting prices.  Check out our Effects-page for more info.

New stuff in the shop: Takamine EG530SSC, Takamine EG523SC jumbo, Takamine EG340C, Hagstrom Super Swede sunburst, Hagstrom F300L, Taylor 114E.  We have more Taylor guitars on order (2, 3, 6 series) which will be expected in the next months.  We're also getting in quite some acoustic guitars from Walden and Tanglewood.

18-10-2008: Bad news from Rickenbacker: due to enormous backlog they won't produce lefthanded instruments anymore.  The distributor had to cancel all my backorders.  As a Ric-fan I'm very disappointed with this decision... Recent arrivals in the shop: Tanglewood acoustics TW115, TW170 & TW155A/bass , Fender American Vintage '52 Telecaster and a couple of interesting used guitars.

10-08-2008: Just before our holiday close but finally received: the great Fender American Standard Stratocaster and Telecaster.  Also arrived: Squier P-Bass special.  And great news from Hagstrom: the HB Series, a complete line of bass guitars - 2 models in lefthand.  Soon available at LeftyGuitars.  Cheers!

04-04-2008:On Saturday 12 April 2008 we will again have a small booth at the Belgium Guitar Show in Affligem.  That day the shop will be closed. 

10-03-2008: It's Musik Messe again in Frankfurt.  That's why the shop will be closed next Thursday 13 March.  On Friday and Saturday the shop is open.

25-02-2008: During the last weeks quite a lot guitars "have left the building", but we received a nice bunch of new-comers in the shop...  Fender Japan Tele Custom '72 and Tele Thinline '72, Taylor 314e, 114 and Big Baby, Fender Std Jazz Bass in Arctic White and in Midnight Wine, Fender Std Telecaster.  We're welcoming a new brand: Indie.  In the shop you can find 3 Indie-models: the IPR Solid, the 2Tone and the Jazza!  Also very interesting used stuff: Tokai Firebird, Musicman Silhouette Special and Robin Ranger.  More to come from Gibson, Hagstrom and Fender...

24-01-2008: New Fender American Standard Series: After being introduced only a week ago at the NAMM music trade show in California, we received the first lefty Stratocaster of the improved American Standard Series.  It's a superb looking Candy Cola red one with maple neck.  The new American Standard line includes left-handed versions of each of the four classic instruments - Stratocaster, Telecaster, Precision Bass and Jazz Bass.  They all got refinements like new bridge design, neck treatments, thinner finish undercoats, new molded cases and other improvements.  Come over to the shop and see for yourself...

New arrivals!  Besides that new Fender American Std Strat we also received a Squier P-Bass Special.  And the new lefties from Hagstrom came in: the gorgeous Deluxe-F in Amber Burst, Swede Gold Top, Super Swede Black and Super Swede Vintage Burst.  Verrry nice.....!

11-01-2008: As anounced at the beginning of 2007, the past year meant a lot of excitement to us.  We're proud of what we reached with the new shop since we moved in here in June.  Thank you very much for your support and trust.  We wish you all a happy and healthy NewYear !  In these first days of 2008 we received already the following guitars: Hagstrom Viking (at last available as lefty!),  Gibson LP Studio in Ebony and Wine Red, Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass, Fender Japan P-Bass '57 reissue, Tanglewood resonator, Jackson Dinky Black, Guild GAD-50L and a used Gibson LP Standard.

23-11-2007: New arrivals: Epiphone G-310 and G-400, Takamine EG340C.  Bad news about the Gibson Les Paul Standard Gold Top.  The distributor informed me that I won't get it because it is no longer available.  Rather weird decision from Gibson in an era where the number of guitar-playing lefties is growing...

28-09-2007: Within the hectic times we had here in the last months, there was a rather silent introduction of Framus guitars.   In fact these are fantastic guitars that deserve a place in the spotlights. 

Framus started building guitars in the early 1950s in the violin factory of the "Fränkische Musikinstrumentenerzeugung Fred Wilfer KG".  Framus was made popular  by many artists, such as John Lennon and Bill Wyman who helped to make Framus a world renown trade mark. Unfortunately after its bankruptcy in the late 1970s Framus virtually disappeared. But in1995 the brand celebrated a come back within the business concept of Warwick.  Check out www.framus.de and www.framus-vintage.de to find out more about this brand.  We have 3 lefty Framus guitars on stock: Tennessee Pro in Burgundy Red and Satin Black and Hollywood in Nirvana Blackburst.

11-07-2007: New shop, new site.  Welcome to the new LeftyGuitars-site!  Our site has undergone a cosmetic upgrade with clearer  navigation.  We added a couple of pages which will be updated regularly, so keep in touch!  Special attention to our Amps-page, with a detailed list of Fender- and SWR-amplifiers.

23-06-2007: Last opening day of the shop in Rijmenam.  As from next Thursday we will be at your service from our new address in Peulis (Putte).  See you all there with the open doors ! 

17-06-2007: Hagstrom update: for the moment the lefty Swedes and Deluxe are out of stock.  We are awaiting new deliveries in July/August. 

31-05-2007: LEFTYGUITARS  MOVES  TO  NEW  SHOP !!  From our actual garage-shop we will move next month (on June 28th) to a new and bigger shop.  We found this new location, which was a grocery-store long time ago, in Peulis (Putte) nearby Mechelen.  Hopefully by the opening the dust is gone, the paint is dry and the ordered guitars are arrived.  As of now we are also a Fender Amp Center.  We will offer an extended range of Fender amplifiers.  A first shipment is already in: Super Sonic Head + Enclosure 2-12, Blues Deluxe Reissue, Blues Junior, FM100 Head + Cabinet 4-10 and FM 210R Combo, '59 Bassman.   Twin Reverb, Acoustasonic and others are ordered.  Also a couple of Fender guitars have arrived.

31-03-2007: Mr. Bassplayer, now is the time!!  The Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass and a Dean Performer electro-acoustic bass are added to our collection.  Today LeftyGuitars offers you a choice of 12 basses in different categories, including 5-string, fretless and electro-acoustic.  A new name in our collection: Dean Guitars.  4 guitars are on order, we hope to receive them very soon.

24-03-2007: On Saturday 14 April 2007 we will attend the Belgium Guitar Show in Affligem.  That day the shop will be closed. 

24-02-2007: Last week announced orders already in the shop!  Fender delivered the following: American Vintage '52 Tele,  '57 Stratocaster, CD100-CE electro-acoustic and American Precision Bass.  We also received the Gibson Les Paul Standard and the Epiphone Sheraton.  The shop is now loaded with great instruments.  See on the Products-page to what a big choice this leads for the lefthanded musician.

16-02-2007: New arrivals: Fender Standard Strat Electron Blue, Fender Std Tele Black and Ovation Celebrity SE44 Ruby Redburst.  And we did new orders for some great guitars: Fender American Vintage '52 Tele and also the '57 Stratocaster, Gibson Les Paul Standard, Epiphone Sheraton, Fender acoustic CD100-CE and Takamine EG531.  

20-01-2007: Friday Jan. 26th the shop will be exceptionally closed (Saturday Jan. 27th we're open from 10.00h tot 16.00h).  And on the following weekend (Febr. 3rd & 4th) we're also closed due to holiday. 

13-01-2007: With the arrival of 2 new Takamine electro-acoustics our acoustic range is now extended to 12 models.  

02-01-2007: A very happy NewYear !  2006 was a fantastic experience for us.  Thanks to all our customers for their enthousiasm and support.   I'm sure 2007 will be even more exciting for LeftyGuitars !

29-12-2006: New in our collection: Musicman Stingray in cool Translucent Red and the great Taylor electro-acoustics 214e and 314ce.  

20-12-2006: Taylor guitars coming soon !  We're starting with the 214E and 314CE which we expect in a couple of days, the fabulous T5 is on order.  Furthermore we put a couple of basses on order: a Fender American Precision and an American Deluxe Jazz Bass.  Also a Musicman Stingray is ordered.  Hopefully doesn't take too long to get these in the shop.  During these last weeks of the year the shop will be open during the usual opening hours on Friday evening and on Saturday.

09-09-2006: Mixed feelings with the sale of the Gretsch Silver Falcon (off course happy that it's sold but with a bit of sadness because of the departure of this unique guitar).   Latest and new arrivals: Fender Standard Jazz Bass, Fender '52 American Vintage Tele, Duesenberg Starplayer Special, Squier Standard P-Bass Special, Gibson SG Special Faded and a fabulous Gibson Les Paul Smartwood Studio (at a "terrible" price!).  We got also some used stuff in: Gibson ES-335, Duesenberg Starplayer TV, Fender Standard Strat and Ovation Celebrity.  Very soon expected: Epiphone Les Paul Std Plus, Takamine EG530SSCL and EG531SSCL.  Still on order: Epiphone Les Paul Std Ebony, Fender Highway-1 Strat, Gretsch G6122-60 Nashville, Fender Dlx Jazz Bass, Musicman Stingray, Fender  CD-100 CE Dreadnought and the 4 Rickenbackers.  Not bad huh?  And... we found new things in Japan !! 03-08-2006: Quite some bass guitars left the shop - for the moment choice is a bit poor for lefty bassplayers - but we have new orders placed, so soon expected: Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass, Fender Standard J-bass, Squier Standard P-Bass Special, MusicMan Stingray 3EQ.  Also on order: Fender Highway 1 Strat, the great Fender '52 American Vintage Tele and Fender CD-100 Dreadnought.      During summer we remain open on Friday evening and on Saturday.  You can also make an appointment if you'd like to visit us on other days.

24-06-2006: Finally a great mid-priced jazz-guitar in the shop, the Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II.  Also new: LAG 100DCE dreadnought and... Gretsch G6119-1962HTLH Tennessee Rose.  This makes LeftyGuitars having 4 (four !!) lefty Gretsch in stock to admire...  

14-06-2006: Two new supergreat lefty guitars now in the shop: Fender Jazzmaster in Vintage White and Gretsch G6128TLH Duo Jet .  As usual photo and specs will follow on the Products page.     Another thing I want to share with you: I came in contact with John Engel who has just finished, after 7 years of research, a book about lefty guitarists and guitars.  "Uncommon Sound, The Left-Handed Guitar Players That Changed Music" will be a unique and extensive document for every music lover and is brought out in a two-volume luxury limited edition.  More info on www.uncommon-sound.com.

13-05-2006: New arrival in the shop: the superb Gibson ES-335 in Trans Black!  Also I got here last Thursday from Japan a lefty Fender Mustang '69 reissue in Sonic Blue.  Yesterday it was already gone.  Also the lefty Fender Jazzmaster had very quickly found a new home .  I'm going to see if I can get more of this...  

29-04-2006: Due to a misunderstanding I got here by mistake a Jackson SL1 Soloist Lefthand in awesome Snakeskin.  This one will be sent back to the distributor, but is now for a limited period in our shop.   So if you are interested come to see and try it now!  Furthermore, we received an Epiphone Dot Cherry in stock and also the Fender '70s Telecaster Ltd Edition is back in town.

04-03-2006: On April 1st LeftyGuitars will be on the Belgium Guitar Show in Affligem (category "Rare guitars" !).  Therefore the shop will be closed on March 31st and April 1st as we will be showing our nicest guitars on our stand.  However, don't hesitate to give us a call for any questions.  Remember, on appointment you can also visit us on other days then only Friday or Saturday.  Maybe see you in Affligem.

20-02-2006: Soon expected: a one-off lefthanded issue of the Gretsch G6136TSL Silver Falcon !!   Super-exclusive !!  Only 2 were available for Europe; 1 of them will be in our shop.  Also on order: Gibson ES-335, Epiphone Dot and Rickenbacker (2 guitars and 2 basses).  Delivery of the Rickenbacker gear will take at least another year as their worldproduction remains unchanged at only 4.000 units per year. 

09-02-2006: New pricelists received from Fender (also Gretsch, Guild, Jackson,...) unfortunately with some important  increases !  Actual stock is still at old prices, so time to decide...  

20-01-2006: Lefty Gibson Les Paul finally arrived !  It's the Classic serie in a very handsome Honey Burst color (with awesome skinsnake case).  List 3.162,50 euro; our net price 2.630,- euro.  Photo and specs will follow.

20-12-2005: Look at our updated Amps & Accessories page with the exclusive The Valve amp.  Earlier this year I saw The Valve amplifiers on the Musik Messe in Frankfurt and I was immediately seduced by their design.  Now I have the 2/50-2 combo in the shop.  You really got to see this one!

09-12-2005: Quite some new stuff came in: Fender 50th Anniversary Strat, The Valve 2/50-2 Combo, Guild GAD-50, Epiphone Dot Cherry Red,...  We also extended our accessories range with  new Dunlop Straps and GHS guitar maintenance products (Fast Fret and Polish).  Next weekend we're having our Xmas Open Doors.  Click here for more info.  Pop in and drink a glühwine with us.  

25-10-2005: Gibson ES-335 TransBlack is now in the shop.  Listprice: 3.050,- € Net: 2.590,- €.  Picture and specs. will follow on the Products-page.  This guitar is fabulous!  Come and check it out!  We are still awaiting deliveries for Gibson and Rickenbacker.  If you'd like to try a Rickenbacker 330 or 360, feel free to ask for my personal guitars (not for sale, but at least you can try it already).
